Did you know uterine fibroids are one of the most common non-cancerous growths affecting people with a uterus? 👀 Fibroids are much more common and often more severe in Black women compared with other racial groups. Up to 80–90 % of Black women may develop fibroids by age 50 and symptoms can include heavy periods, pain, anemia, and fertility issues.
